Grooming equipment and helmets are sanitized between lessons for your safety.

All lessons are scheduled online for your convenience!

All you are required to have to ride are boots with a heel and long pants! A helmet will be provided for you if you do not own your own.

Once you have passed our Nebula (beginner level) - choose a Specialization to focus on or just ride for fun! We have twice yearly challenges to accumulate points by completing challenges with prizes. We also have twice years shows for our own students. You will also earn a ribbon each time you pass one of our difficult riding levels! Little Dippers

Girls and boys ages 4-7 can enjoy our 30 minute lessons. During each lesson, students groom and tack up their pony, as well as practice exercises on horseback to become balanced and confident riders. Little Dippers are taught by Ms. Sara and Ms. Natalie!

($40 for a single lesson) ($35 each for 4 lessons=$140)

Calibration Lesson

New students over the age of 8 can choose to try us out and see if the stars align between student and instructor! Calibration Lessons are one hour and include a barn tour, program overview, grooming and tacking the horse, as well as time for riding!

($70 for a single lesson)

Packages

Riders ages 8 and up can enjoy one-hour private lessons that involve grooming, tacking, and ride time. We want to reward you for coming more frequently and decrease our prices with our larger lesson packages! The more lessons you buy at a time - the more you save!

Pisces Lessons

Pisces Lessons are geared towards those who want to own a horse in the future or have an interest in horsemanship from the ground. In these classes, the focus is on horse handling, care, nutrition, stable management, ownership costs and a multitude of other aspects of owning and working with horses! Pisces classes are taught by both Ms. Jenny and Ms. Sara! Our Pisces Specialization classes are 30 minutes long and are Galaxy’s only classes that do not include riding.

Our program is catered to meet the needs and goals of every student, from leisure riding through showing, in a no-pressure environment. You can specialize in one - or participate in all - of the different Specializations that Galaxy Riding School has to offer! We encourage you to choose your Specialization based on what you want to accomplish as a rider. Whether you want to be a serious competitor, learn the basics of riding, how to care for a horse of your very own, or just have fun- we have something for you!

Specializations

New riders get a safe start in Nebula. You can then follow the Zodiac Signs to choose your specialization in each lesson. You do not have to choose just one specialization! You can choose multiple areas to navigate through and work your way up through each level in each one if you wish! You can also choose to focus on just one specialization your whole riding career! Our program is completely customized to each rider.

NEBULA

Nebula is the perfect start for our new to riding students whether they be 8 or adults! The Nebula Specialization is our foundation level program. We focus on the basic tenets of riding and teach you how to practice safe handling of these wonderful and large animals. Our well trained horses are tried and true confidence builders! This is also a great way to ease back into riding after a long hiatus or start a new hobby at any stage of your life! Nebulas are taught by Ms. Jenny, Ms. Sara, Ms. Annie and Ms. Natalie. Students can switch between both instructors as they wish or stay with just one! All new students above the age of 8 start in our Nebula Specialization! Once you have achieved success as a Nebula you are ready to move up to our Zodiac Specializations - read more below!

SCORPIO

Our Scorpio Specialization is for the aspiring Eventer! This is for the fiery types that love the adrenaline rush of jumping in an open field over ditches, logs, and other objects that require a safety-vest, helmet, and medical armband to attempt! Eventing involves three elements - Cross Country, Show Jumping, and Dressage. Scorpios have the option of traveling to off-site schoolings (practice) and competing in Events when they are ready. This specialization is taught exclusively by a fellow Scorpio, Ms. Jenny!

AQUARIUS

Our Aquarius Specialization is catered to our good timers! The non-conformists of the horse world will enjoy these classes! Our Aquarius classes are just for fun and will include games, ground pole patterns, and focus more on leisure riding with proper safety and just having a great time with your pony. Aquarius classes are taught by Ms. Jenny, Ms. Sara and Ms. Annie! Ms. Annie specialized in beginner polo lessons in the Aquarius Specialization as well!

LEO

Those brave and loyal to the art of hunter/jumpers can join the Leo Specialization. These classes focus on learning and perfecting correct technique over jumps for hunters, and enhancing speed & accuracy for jumpers. If you are an aspiring hunter/jumper, Leo is right for you! Leos have the option of showing in competitions when they are ready. Leo classes are taught exclusively by Ms. Jenny!

GEMINI

Do you want to ride with proper technique without jumping over anything? Our Gemini Specialization is a great way to learn the ins and outs of English riding! These classes offer riders the chance to learn how to properly ride “on the flat” (no jumping!) with work involving Walk - Trot - Canter. Gemini riders have the option of showing in English Pleasure competitions when they are ready. Gemini classes are taught by Ms. Jenny, Ms. Sara and Ms. Annie.

PISCES

The Pisces Specialization is for those who may want to own a horse in the future. What better sign to represent the dream versus reality of owning a horse? In these instructional classes, the focus is on learning horse handling, basic to advanced care, equine nutrition, stable management, costs associated with horse ownership, and a multitude of other aspects of owning horses! Pisces classes are taught by both Ms. Jenny and Ms. Sara! Our Pisces Specialization classes are 30 minutes long and are our only classes that do not include riding. These lessons are $25 for a single lesson or $20 for a package of 4.
